I will never be back to St Lucia especially to the smugglers cove. Some nice people but the resort team were unhelpful

There is not one thing i could complain about with the hotel or the resort everything you needed was right in front of you. everywhere was clean, tidy and well kept and i would deafiantly vist the gorgeous beaches and resort again!

Our brief trip was enjoyable, but to be honest, the hotel was so amazing we only ventured out the once

i loved it there, i would go again. beautiful beaches, great sun. Always had things to do, and different drinks to drink. Nice place, i would come to st.lucia again.

Castries is the capital so as you would expect for the Caribbean. Has a craft market & duty free shops. Avoid when cruise ships are in!

A beautiful island that just waits to be discovered. You may find the range of places to eat out limited so all inclusive is the best way to go.

Stunning. Marigot Bay is described as one of the best locations in the Carribean and its true. From high on the Bayside you have a wonderful view of Marigot Bay. Marigot Bay is small but has everything you need. A bank, small supermarket, small boutique area for gifts etc.Restaurants :- You cant go wrong with any of them. For the best head to the Rainforest Hideaway restaurant, slightly more expensive but wonderful location, very romantic, and great food with extras. All the others on Marigot also have excellent service and food, we tried the Hurricane Hole, Chateau Mygo, Baguette Shop and Boudreau. St Lucia:- It is a very lush beautiful Island. For a relaxing switch off holiday head to The Inn On The Bay. Its also a very good location for exploring.

Gros Islet itself is approximately ten minutes by car. There is a large well stocked supermarket and plenty of bars and restaurants. We can definitely recommend Spinnakers, a restaurant / bar on the Beach ideally situated for watching the Sunset, Buzz restaurant and the Big Chef Steakhouse (see trip advisor reviews). There are two Beaches to chose from, both are Hotel Beaches but are open to the Public. The closest is at the bottom of the driveway, between two pillars which is the Entrance to The Body Holiday resort. The second you turn left at the end of the driveway and it is the Beach for the Cap Maison resort. This is the smaller of the two Beaches, it takes approximately fifteen minutes to walk to and is quite rocky and uneven for walking on. The Body Holiday beach is much nicer, though take Water for the climb back up the hill on the way back, it is very steep.

the ideal place for those wanted to go comewhere and totally chill out. the beaches are beautiful but there isnt much else to do. the food and drink is delicious and very cheap compared to be uk, and there is some great duty free deals to be had, just not much choice. there were a few bars etc but we didnt feel too safe going away from the hotel at night.

Stay on the beach and relax !!

Markets are fun certainly worth an hour of your time. lots of carvings and fun presents for the family.

Volcanoes and tours worth the visit.

We really enjoyed out time in Castries. As we were staying in an all inclusive resort we didn't go out much at night but when we did we had a great time, eating and drinking local produce and it's realy cheap too. There are loads of things to see and do too, like boat trips and tours through the rain forest. The locals are very friendly too.

The beach is beautiful however the water is quite calm and in a sandy bottomed bay. This means that there is no snorkelling and little surf. The location is not ideal, as there's not much around the hotel itself except for a Sandals resort and a small restaurant (that could close any day now, but has great food). However, the local mini buses are cheap and easy to use, and there are two grocery stores within easy walking distance. Crime is extremely low on the Island but some panhandling happens along the beach. I guess security handles this sort of thing but for the week we stayed, I never saw any issues. (as it should be). I do suggest renting a vehicle from the Villas as well. Price was the best on the Island as well knowing that the place you’re staying at is also the rental agency. You know they wouldn’t give you a substandard car. (BIG PLUS) Except for some places along the coast, most roads went over mountains and had hire pin curves. It’s no wonder why it takes 1 ½ hours from the Airport going only 41 miles. We did - TreeTop ZipLine - Highly Recommended, half a day, cost roughly $100 per person Helen Snorkeling tour - two 45 minute snorkeling stops both near the Piton mountains. Half a day, roughly $75 per person. Its a must if you enjoy diving or snorkeling. Sunset cruise out of Rodney Bay - 3 Hours, plenty of booze & music. all around good time. not sure the price was included in our honeymoon package.

Lovely place, people very friendly and lots of beautiful sites and things to do. The duty free village is also worth a visit for a bargain.

We walked into Castries for the Saturday morning market. It was nice to see the locals selling their fruit, vegetables, crafts etc. Take some Eastern carribbean dollars. Its easier to use at local places (e.g. the supermarket 5 mins walk away) than USD and you get much better value for money. We went on three dive trips - one inclusive off the local beach and the other two to the marine park near the Pitons. These trips were well organised, fun and the diving was great, water warm and abundant fish life! If you want to dive I would recommend signing up as soon as you arrive because the all inclusive dive times were all filled (except one) when we went. The sailing was also great fun! Having the 2 bays is nice but the sea bathing was not the best. At the time of our visit the water was rather murky but this is likely seasonal

Halcyon beach is a fairly narrow streatch of sand but with nice views over the ocean. Their are numerous watersports included in the Savdals package including diving and snorkelling. This is a good trip from Castries on alovely boat. All the gear is provided and you sail for about half an hour......good fun.
