"Natura Beach Hotel"
Overall Hotel Rating:
We loved it here just paradise, we got up for breakfast and then sat under our tree all day and just chilled and read which is what you have to do if you go there, its quiet away from the town of polis so you do need a car or you could just do what we did and eat at the hotel and pay your bill when you leave and the food was pretty good actually. It is a 2hr journey from the airport but well worth it sitting under a palm tree with swallows flying around and just the sea to look at very romantic

"Natura Beach Hotel The perfect getaway"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Relax here at the natura beach hotel as we have for 6 years now There are not enough great words to describe this place and its surroundings but here are just a few Delightful tranquel, peacefull relaxing a dream come true, unwinding and so on Once you visit this perfect place then you wont want to come home but to book your next visit instead hee hee We really are not making this all up as some kind of joke because we do go every year and are hoping to be living out here one day in the near future A few nice pointers are Drive on same side of road Great food everywhere with fish taverns steak houses and much more at your feet. All year round sunshine.gets very hot in july/august Family run hotel with 1st class service from everybody there Hotel has its own beach with fantastic views inc sunset each night Away from the noise of traffic and the activity of the town while at the same time being only a 20-minute walk from the tavernas and coffee-shops of the Polis centre So what are you waiting for Book now with olympic holidays or even direct with the hotel if desired Thanks for reading this and hope you have a fantastic as we do every year www.max-sound.co.uk

"Natura Beach Villas"
Overall Hotel Rating:
This was my second visit to the Natura Beach villas. There are five villas in total each with their own private pool. Each villa has space to cater for 7 people, with two bedrooms upstairs and one bedroom downstairs (each with its own bathroom).
The villa is nice and spacious and is cleaned on a regualr basis. The swimming pool is also cleaned frequently, and with the shrubury around the garden, it gives it a secluded feel. Being by the hotel also means that you can use the facilities of the hotel is you wish to (facilities include gym, pool, tennis courts, internet access, pool table, etc). The beach is also only 5-mins away, although the beach is very pebbly.
I would recommend this to anyone- but particulary to families.

"Natura Beach Hotel And Apartments review"
Overall Hotel Rating:
The Natura Beach Hotel has a lovely setting right on the beach, it is very clean with spacious rooms. The owner and staff are friendly and courteous and take great care of the hotel and its surroundings. There is no development either side of the hotel and this adds to the attraction. Our room was on the ground floor overlooking one of the orange groves (the oranges appear at breakfast as juice and it is delicious). The hotel is like an oasis amongst the many villas that are springing up around the polis and latchi area (we visited latchi 2 years ago and couldn't believe the development that has taken place). Polis itself has some great restaurants and cafe/bars where you can watch the world go by. The menus do not vary very much from restaurant to restaurant but we could not fault any of the ones we went to (our favourite being the one nearest the Bourgeanvilla apartments sorry cannot remember the name of it must have sampled too much of the house wine that night!)
On this visit to Cyprus we went on the Troudos Jeep Safari which is a great day out. The jeeps do get hot though when you have to wind the windows up to keep the dust out when off roading! Our driver took the scenic route back to Polis avoiding the main roads which was interesting!!
A 5CY taxi ride to Latchi is worthwhile as you can take a boat trip from the harbour there but if you feel more energetic you can hire bikes from the hotel. We hired mountain bikes (better condition than those at the hotel) from the bike shop in Polis for 2.50CY per day and it is an easy ride to Latchi and upto the Baths of Aphrodite. You can also try to ride the other way along the coast to Pomos - just one tip don't try it when it is 100 degrees as the breeze feels like a hairdryer being held in your face!
We were in Polis during the heatwave so the air conditioning at the Natura Beach was an absolute godsend (included in the holiday price and controllable in the room.We travelled with Manos, had a taxi transfer to and from the hotel as there was on the two of us going to Polis off our flight. Just one thing the brochure states that Polis town centre is 15 mins away - maybe if you run!!!
Cyprus goes to the Euro next January (2008) just pray the prices don't go up as much as the greek islands!

"Natura Beach Hotel And Apartments review"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Peacefull haven, Natura Beach is located at Polis and is the real cyprus area with local taverna's Vomos being good although food at hotel was very good and the same price has eating out,a green hotel that grows its own fruit and veg (real fresh orange juice for breakfast!)it has its own beach and the sunset is wonderfull. The rooms have baths and are large with a table and chair area. The staff are most helpfull and the holiday was very relaxed it's a 20 min walk to town centre slightly uphill but being on sea front makes up for this 3 cyprus pounds in a taxi.I can't say much on the down side it was a perfect hotel one of the best we have been in more like 4 star, so if you want the real thing no english pubs or disco's this is the one for you.
Warning avoid Cypriat Airways they were truely awefull to fly with customer service whats that, am reading my mag. thankyou.Overall i enjoyed the holiday so much i'll return next year!!!!!!!!!!

"Natura Beach Hotel And Apartments review"
Overall Hotel Rating:
If you want peace, tranquility, beautiful countryside and quiet polite and helpful staff then this is the place. If 'low impact tourism' that ensures the local fauna and flora are actively encouraged and helped then this is the place for you. If an organic healthy menu is important then this is the place.
We have just returned from this holiday in Cyprus and were extremely impressed with the owner and his staff and how hard they work to achieve a totally relaxing and at the same time ecologically ethical environment in which to spend time. If you ask nicely the owner a professor of microbiology will give a most interesting talk n the local plant and animal life. Do not expect loud nights at the bar drinking but a few beers with fellow holiday makers in the evenings.
The grounds are full of flowering shrubs, herb plants and wonderful flowers as well as lizards nesting birds and occasionally loggerhead turtles nest on the beach directly in front of the hotel [this is a mostly gravel beach so take a pair of sandals for the water but spotlessly clean - there is also a lovely hotel pool].Visitors are free to 'visit' the onsite animals [chickens goats etc,] and walk around the olive and orange groves as well as the organic vegetable areas. We stayed bed and breakfast and found the fresh yogurt, local honey, home made marmalade fresh bread and orange juice squeezed from the orchard on site as well as the scrambled eggs from their own chickens delicious [their were also many other items available] The hotel is well geared to the disabled traveler with wheelchair access to the dining room and most apartments on the ground floor.
Most of the cliental were older but there were a number of families with small children and the clientele were quite cosmopolitan. We made friends with a Swiss lady, a German couple, a number of English couples, Scots and we heard a number of French speaking people around. One lovely elderly lady was on holidays on her own and did so there regularly at 82 and was very interesting to talk to. There were many people in there middle years like us with busy lifestyles looking for a place to 'chill out' and all agreed this place was ideal.
The small town of Polis is about 20 mins walk [which we found helped to build up an appetite] although you can eat in the hotel in the evening. In Polis you must visit the Moustakllis restaurant and talk to Ivan [a waiter] who is an absolute star turn and keeps you well entertained. All the staff in this restaurant are very welcoming and make you feel at home almost immediately. The food there is also excellent [the owner is also the local butcher]. Various restaurants serve many differing local fish dishes as well as other local specialties. We did not have a bad meal anywhere the whole week. The local Cypriot wine is also very good to drink. Again most places are closed by 11.30 - 12.00 so this town is not for those who want a busy nightlife. Just down the road a few miles drive is the Akamas peninsula [a nature reserve and stunning] and a few minutes walk up the road is the 'game reserve' [not big game I hasten to add] with wheat fields and open countryside. There are many little villages to visit each with character. A car would certainly be very useful were you to want to get around.
All in all we have fallen in love with Polis and will most certainly be going back
