"Fabulous Cruise"
Overall Hotel Rating:
The ship looked great with new carpets in many areas etc. Refurbishment is ongoing but wasn't a problem, although we preferred the Spirit last year in spite of it having worn carpets.
Last year on the Spirit there were chairs on deck. The Celebration only has loungers except for the plastic table and chairs. We had to take those along the deck when we wantd to sit as we, along with others, don't want sun loungers.
The crew was superb especially the waiters and cabin stewards.
Didn't use any kids' facilities but there is no option for not applicable

"Thomson Celebration - Eastern Wonders"
Overall Hotel Rating:
This cruise was the movement of the thomson Celebration ship from its winter venue in the Red sea to its summer venue in Turkey. The cruise was 11 days long and travelled through the Suez canel into the med. We called at some wonderful places and the bst part of a cruise is that there is a wonderful ship to come back to each day. The staff, the entertainment, the food and the cabin was just right - we could have asked for more. if I had a niddle it would be the paper napkins - if Thomsons are going to continue using them please use good quality ones. Thomsons - well done and keep it up.

"Thompson Celebratio "
Overall Hotel Rating:
Our second time on The Celebration, a nice well run ship, crew and staff obviously have great pride in her. The service provided is excellent and our only criticism is that after bad experiences on 'shared 'tables we decided to ask for a table for two. Twice we were asked 'why' by two different Maitre de's- this made us feel very uncomfortable, so much so that we decided to use the Lido Restaurant! We noticed that others preferred to dine 'a deux' and wondered if they had encountered the same resistance! We really appreciated the very interesting information from The Captain.
