Nirides Beach Hotel Reviews

This was the best hotel we have stayed in on a Package holiday and we have been on 12 in the last 8 years. We have had Armed Police on the door, sacked staff having a rally and banging drums by the pool every day, we even slept on top of the stand by generator in turkey. So it was no surprise when we arrived at 3;30 am in the morning that we had no electric in our apartment and was giving a touch and told it could not be fixed until later that day. What did surprise us was the way the staff treated us after this they could not do enough for us at 4pm we were moved to a new apartment on the other side of the hotel and offer free breakfasts for the trouble we had had. This hotel is run by a family and all the staffs were fantastic the rooms are a bit small but very clean the pool area was very clean and the shower area for check out day was top notch. We could go back to this hotel time and time again. As we said this was the best hotel we have ever been to on a Package holiday

Had a great and lazy holiday at the Niriides Beach Hotel in August 2011. Smaro, Stavros, Caroline, Quiros, Ali and all of the rest of the staff at the hotel could not have been friendlier, more helpful or hardworking. Any issues are sorted in minutes. Location on the road on the beachfront looking across at the Turkish coast was fantastic and is now my screensaver. Weather was absolutely fantastic.The pool was great and the children (teenagers) made lots of friends across the 2 weeks. Plenty of shade around the pool area as well if you wanted to get out of the sun. Lots of great restaurants on the way into Kos Town and in the town itself. Also try Cafe Harmo next door for lunchtime sandwiches and omlettes - great reasonably priced food and fantastic service. The beach across the way isn't wonderful but take a pair of jelly shoes and you'll be fine. The hotel bar has a really relaxed atmosphere. Air conditioning was extra as expected so that was no issue.

A special mention also to Rachel the Thomson rep who could not have been more helpful - probably the best rep we've ever had on a holiday.

Hire a pushbike as there is a cycle lane separated from the main road by a kerb all of the way into town so very safe. I don't think I've ever seen so many people cycling.

My best recommendation is that I would have no hesitation in returning. The hotel may have a 3 star rating but the staff make it a first class destination. Thanks Smaro, Stavros and staff for a fantastic holiday.

This is a very nice hotel. Its approx a mile out of Kos Town, but its flat and only 20/25 mins walk, but the bus stop is only 2 mins away. Our rooms was cleaned every day, clean towels 3 times a week and overall the Hotel is well maintained. The pools great,plenty of free sunbeds. The pool side bar has tasty snacks although I personally did not take advantage of the evening buffet as its open from 1900-2100 hrs, the food on offer looked excellent, and I heard no complaints fron the other guests. Theres a supermarket abot 3mins walk & tavernas on the doorstep. The one across the road is excellent. Overall its a great place to stay for a holiday, I would and have recommended it everybody and I will be returing there again.

i stayed at the nirides beach with my six irish friends. all i can say is outstanding. The hospitality from this family run hotel was fantastic from start to finish. the hotel has to be one of the best i have ever come accross in terms of hospitality and service. i would highly recommend this hotel as a base for visiting kos town. we shall be returning at the end of the season! good luck in euro 2004.

the staff at the hotel were excellent nothing was to much trouble for them. Sstavros the owners son is a great guy always being so helpful. the bar is run by petros ,which is very comfortable to relax in . There is a bike rental shop next to the hotel which is very handy ,and we would reccommend. Tthere are about ten bars and tavernes close by one of which we especially reccommend is Casa Romano 50 metres on the left as you leave the hotel. mikaelis, anna, and yianni, give excellent service, and the food is great.

We had a great time at niirides beach hotel also the bus stop is just across the road to kos town a bus costs 85 cents a taxi will cost 5 euro . where you stay and the people you meet make a difference ,a great holiday thoroughly reccommended
