I went to faliraki on a girls holiday, there was 12 of us and we had a brilliant time, nightlife was good, weather was great, good places to eat and friendly atmosphere, nothing like it is made out.

8 of my friends where staying in the Orion studios, that was great, lovely clean rooms, friendly people, great food, great pool area and cool atmosphere.

However......

3 of us where staying in different accomodation which was the odysey studios situated in the middle of nowhere on a 70mph dual carriage way with no pavement and slops with spikes at the bottom. When we arrived in the room it smelt like someone had died in there, the smell was awful. There was blood on the floor, shaving foam on the ceiling, the sink area where the fridge was, was disgsting, the bathroom was so small you couldnt ven open the door wide enough as the sink was there. You had to hold the shower with you hand to wash yourself. I sat on a balcony chair, which was facing a cows, they wasnt annoying though. I am not over weight and i broke the chair!! Very unsafe and it was defo on its last legs before i sat on it!!

The staff was awful, wouldnt admit to the rooms being awful and would not move us to another room. Met a few guys there and there rooms where just as bad.

When we met the rep We demanded to be moved hotels but she didnt give a toss about us, we had payed £460 and the other girls at the orion had paid £400!! It was gutting and made us on a downer the first few days. It was miles away from the bars and clubs, long walk everyday. We didnt stay in the hotel that much, slept there only a few nights as we kipped at the orion. We asked the rep three times to move us and she didnt help us at all. On our last few days there she had one of them rep talks with everyone and mentioned about the overall survey you had to fill in, she basically said that if there is anything bad about the hotel , staff or her then she would not hand the form in to Olympic!! On our last night when we was waiting for the coach the manager had read my views and gave me abuse, swearing and telling me to get off his premises, i couldnt wait!! We took pictures of the hotel and wrote a letter of complaint to Olympic, there response was that they had no record of any complaints or issues during my stay there and they had never recieved my holiday survey form.

Yes this is an essay but i strongly advise people not tp stay there, it is awful, you dont want your holiday ruined by the staff or the hotel!! Go to the Orion instead!!

These studios cannot be described as anything other than GRIM.....

I stayed there for a week whilst training as a rep with Olympic, and was disgusted by the state of the accommodation.

The rooms were cold and DIRTY. The accommodation owners are very rude and unfriendly.

I never paid for my stay, and to be honest, would have complained if I had.

I would NOT recommend this accommodation to anyone!!!!!

If you're looking for the best time of your life Faliraki is the place to be.Absolutely wicked please- loads of drink men and sun!!!!

At first we arrived and thought what the hell is this- hoped i'd soon wake up from a nightmare, i didn't in the end it turned out to be the best holiday i'd ever been on. The family that owned the apartments were alright once you got to know them in fact even made us laugh. we went with my mum and her best friend- they seemed to have a laugh and they're in their 40's of course all the young lads were offering to buy them drinks so they were content. The pool areas great, since you're either out or a boring person who spends all their time in their room the accomidation is great. Cheap and gets the job done.

The night life is absolutely brilliant definitely go q bar it's where everyone heads towards the end of the night. The best bar in my opinion was Champers and pozers- Mike from Pozers was a top bloke- he got us FREE ENTRY to all the clubs

The bar crawl was so much fun - the reps Nikki and John gave it everything givin everyone and enjoyable night. Can't wait to go back next year

The atmosphere is great everyone ther to do the same things have a laugh and relax. Made some great friends. And alhthough it seems weird to say this place has definitely left a lasting impresion on my life

just got back from falaraki...fantastic holiday well what i remember of it...just wana say a big helloooo to everybody we met out there..missing u all already...

firstly anybody going to falaraki this year can i plz warn u that if u have booked to stay in the oddessy studios then CHANGE it now..the appartment...wel...i wouldnt let a dog sleep in that for a night let alone a fornight.

there were wires hannging about all over,the shower head u had to hold to get washed..the water was always freezing..filled the kettle upto make a pot noodle and the water fell through the bottom..fridge door didnt shut...god the list is endless...the hotel manager well...come home later then midnight and he'll eat u alive...stay way clear of him ...enough said..

The foam party at bed rock over there is a must...absoloutely fantastic just dont wear to much in there its really warm and it knackers your clothes up..every pub n club over there are banging...go in them all (well u wont have a choice with them p.r's) really annoying...oscar's is the best place for breakfast in the morning(if your up) really nice full english...

also drink the fish bowls on a night out over there (two of them..and well your ...)
anyway not much else i remember (still nursing a massive hangover) have a great time...remember its what you make it....

faliraki is great,a wide selection of bars and clubs with really nice beeches and places to eat and have fun during the day, its a a good laugh and a great place to come on holiday to party hard or just chill out.

a party of 10 of us all lads from manchester came here for a good time,but i strongly advise anybody who comes here to stay away from the oddesy studios. for a start its stuck in the middle of nowere with only a very busy and dangerous main road linking you to civilisation and if you want to walk it will take you at least 30-40 minuits to get to the main bar street and beech.

the people who own and work at the studios will try anything to got as mutch mony out of you as you can,you are not alloud any visitors to the hotel or you will get kicked out(this happened to at leased 5 pople in our 2 weeks stay) the police are called if you so mutch as complain about somthing wrong with your room and its a really horrible atmospere to stay in. my mate hired a fan for a week it cost him 25 euros and it didnt blow enough air to move a strand of hair on your head so i bought a large heavy duty fan for 15 euros and i was not allowed to bring it into my room i had to hire one or the owner would phone the police and he did resulting in more trouble.

faliraki is wiked but please dont stay here and have your holiday ruined the place should be condemed and i wouldnt useually write and but i fell really strongly about this as ive been to all the holiday hotspots ibiza,magaluf,ayanappa etc and ive never had these problems before.

I went to faliraki just last week and it was absolutely fine, i woz even considering changing my hols because of the situation they had and there were bad reviews bout the accommodation.

Faliraki has a bit of nitelife but gets bit boring as it's samey samey but we still had a good time. Odyssey was abs fine, the staff were helpful, we hired a fan out but got the biggest one if u turn it to the side air does come out, it does work at times, but it's very humid weather. If u had 317 then ure lucky cuz u get a bath hehe, walk 2 town isn't 40mins feels bout 15mins and i don't really do walking, but it don't take long.

The main road can get busy but we manage to sleep everynite, the only noise we had woz wen people wud come in early hrs and shouting. The pool area is always clean and simple, we had our room cleaned more than twice but im not complaining. The clubs r good we went into a few, q clubs good and sinners but if ure in2 drum and base it may not be the same as u like it as my bf found out.

The beach is lovely well in ways but it is stoney on most beaches whereever u go around rhodes, but it is sand in the sea. We hired a car for a week think woz 70euros conditioner and free insurance if u do it wiv reps they charge more. The food woz lovely everytime we went out, i do say tho u dnt get b1 gt 1 free a couple u do but mostly it's free shots so if u don't drink this, for 2 ofu it can be a very exp nite just in the few hours.

I ddnt have ne problems on this holidays and enjoyed it, but i wnt be going back as i found the nitelife not allot to choose from, as i been to Kardemena and that's more 2 choose from.:)

Well let me start by saying Hello to anyone who is reading this who was at the Hotel when we were.

After goin on the net to find out about the place i was going to spend my summer Hols i found nothing but bad reviews, well let me say that the rooms were great, basic but they were cleaned every second day and were always spik and span.

The pool area was brilliant and as for the bar area the girl behind the bar Angelina, she was lovely. the inside bar had a very friendly atmosphere and the people behind the bar charlie, Steve and his son treat you like family.

At night it is easy to spleep but can get a little warm.

The walk from the hotel to the centre is about 25mins but taxis are vey easy to get and cost about 5 euros. all the bars area brilliant, plenty of drink good music what else do you need. This hotel is suitable for all ages too.

I am going to finish by saying that this is the best holiday i have had and will deffently be back very soon see u soon

id just like 2 say that after reading so many bad reviews about odysseystudios i was a bit aprehensive about going there, but what can i say.. i had an excellent time there.

steve used 2 wrk 4 the previous family that owned the place but he bought it last yr and has turned it around. it was ur basic accomadation granted but the room was spotless, only cleaned twice the wk we were there but wat more do u need. if u requested extra towels or pillows they were supplied. steve is such a lovely man and looked after us very well, all his family were a pleasure and made u feel right at home, nothing was 2 much trouble 4 them.

the pool area was also spotless and the pool bar had almost every drink stocked. the inside bar is also open 24 hrs and we had great craic ther wiv the workers and other holiday makers. it is situated by the busy road but u dont need 2 cross it 4 anything so dont worry. if u take a short cut it is only 15 mins from the centre, ur reps wil tel u which way 2 go.

i am goin back 2 odyssey studios in september and really looking 4ward 2 it.
