just got back from a sweltering two weeks at the seaview.the apartments are in a great location just 20 metres from the sea and when lying in bed at night you can hear the waves lapping on the shore, unfortunetly thats not all you can hear as the owners like to have their family meal outside our apartment until the early hours.One night we even had terrible off key singing ,.if they had been brits people would have beeen saying typical how rudecan you get

this was our first time on the island and we were not dissapointed.We hired a motor bike and went all round the island and it was great . we got to see the turtles at lagans just by going out on a peddalo.
The area of alykes is lovely and the beaches beautiful. very safe for children as the sea is very shallow for a good way out .

our studio at sea view was lovely. it was kept very clean. you can litterally walk out the building over the lawn and theres the sea.the people who run it are very nice too. Sea view shares the pool with the Paradise apartments next door which are also lovely and i would stay at either. the pool area is spotless and the staff are brilliant . Marieta and Spyros are fantastic and can not do enough for you . The food is also very nice. Demitri is charming and very helpful.
the centre is not to much of a walk away (about 10 mins stroll) and there are plenty of good tavernas and bars . the resort next to this is alykanas and is not to far to walk when the temperature cools late in the day .
do try the local wine it is lovely especially the red.

we would definately go back again and stay at the same place . there is something in alykes and alykanas for everyone young and old alykes being my favourite.
