We were looking for some cheap last minute sun and this is just what the doctor ordered - lovely weather forecast so we went for it. the apartments were a little basic but there was nothing wrong with them - nice breakfasts could be bought from the cafe nearby.

17 at the time but cudnt afford a m8z holiday so went with the old man. suprisingly brilliant, hav been 2 zante twice before and loved it.

accomodation was basic but you come to expect that from greece. rooms were cleaned 5/6 times a week and were clean wen arrived in the morning. Kalamaki is the next resort on from laganas - 5mins taxi ride tops and is more family orientated although plently to do for the 18-25 age group. is perfect as a base camp for going into laganas with the added advantage of being a resort where all the bars have 2 turn outside music off by midnight, this may sound boring but actually you never notice it.

summer 06 was exceptionally hot - hitting 50 degrees nearly every day, resulting in bush fires on the hill side next to us, made for great fun watching the planes and helicopters dip in2 the sea 2 get water, thnkfully no smoke effected kalamaki or laganas

downunder has 2 be the best bar in the resort, loud lively and open until you wanted, did get a little annoying with the 14/15/16 year olds in there though waiting for there parents to call them home, once they left though could get down to some serious clubbing, and great when they got ID'd

would recommend kalamaki to any family or group of lads or girls on holiday as there is something for every1
was also brilliant being able to watch all the premiership games at 6 at night live because of the time difference after you got off the beach!!

i am staying in the adonnis apartments with my freind in july there is no saftey deposit box but i have read from the reviews that the supermarket across the way provids them just woundering if anyone has been and has used them just feel a little uneasy that they are neither on the complex or in the rooms thanks
