"Iranshahr Hotel"
Overall Hotel Rating:
we paid about $70 for a room with two twin beds. It's not luxurious and has the feel of a 70's-era hotel that's in need of an update. But it's clean, friendly, well-located, and has all the basics covered including three free internet terminals just near the entrance. It's not far from the old US embassy and close to the metro at Ferdosi square as others have mentioned which is handy.
Breakfast was OK, nothing like what you'd get at a Western hotel, but it was fine. We found it to be a pretty standard breakfast served at all the hotels we stayed at during our trip. It was more or less the exact same selection, every day, of cucumbers, tomatoes, canned fruit, yogurt, pita, boiled eggs, sausage, toast, tea, and Nescafe.
