"Cheap rates - but location not too great"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Located on the south island of Venice - it's fairly close compared to other hostels in the area in terms of distance from the main island. The main problem with the location is the fact that there is a minimum of 6 Euros just for a single stop!
Despite this minor point, the hotel is good value - serving cheaper versions of popular Italian meals and the room rates are quite competitive compared to the usual high room cost of Venice. With being only a single stop from the main island, it's only a matter of minutes before you are in st Marks square and the other main attractions - don't expect there to be much for entertainment on the south island however!
