Still dreaming of Vilamendhoo, we did not want to come home, Paradise island, all that you would hope for, great photo op,

Great Beach Bungalow in this Resort. stayed in the lagoon side, nice and quiet .Staff really friendly and made the stay more relaxing. Sunset bar staff(Rumesh,Indika,Mikka) went over and beyond to make our stay enjoyable - a credit to the hotel. Can't forget our waiter Abrahim always pleased to serve us with a smile!!

The South Ari Atoll area is a fantastic place. Great weather, great snorkelling, great trips. Vilamnendhoo Island is a 25 minute trip on the Seaplane and worth every minute in the air. 18 hours door to door but this is so worth it.

great. Return flight was terrible. Ran out of bottle water with 5 hours of flight remaining. Entertainment service was faulty. All items that we wanted from duty free trolley were not available. Made a bad ending to our otherwise great honeymoon

The reason I put Mature Couple's is that the Island is small, not a lot of entertainment, very quiet, and somewhere you can totally relax ( would suit honeymooners). They had a small amount of entertainment but if you are a party animal this would be no good for you. This was our first time to the Maldives and would certainly go back again and to vilamendhoo. There was a couple there who have been there 8 times!! For us Vilamendhoo ticked all the boxes and it was amazing.

This resort is for people who like to do nothing except swim, snorkel, dive and sunbathe. For myself and my husband, an ideal holiday.

Be warned, if you are travelling with Thomson/First Choice, the air stewards are very unpleasant, even asking for a drink of water was too much trouble, I have never experienced such rude, sarcastic flight attendants than the staff on these aeroplanes, they put a real dampner on our holiday, so much so, we will never fly long haul with this company again.

Obviously it is hard to comment on an entire atoll but the boat trips we made were really good and we swam with turtles and manta rays and watched the dolphins playing in the open sea, we even managed a few hours on an isolated sandbar, nearly Robinson Crusoe ?

There is only one resort on the island and we were All Inclusive so there is no option to eat out and it's difficult to comment on the cost of food - but those drinks we did buy were the same as you'd pay in any hotel ($6 for a cocktail). Obviously the main attraction is the scuba diving and snorkelling but there were other things to do (kayaking, tennis, badminton, volleyball, football, wind-surfing) if you wanted to. And there's trips to other islands available.

Stunning snorkelling reef. We saw turtles, rays, sharks (black tipped) and amazing tropical fish in their thousands. Not so keen on the biting fish though ......

Water bungalows and dedicated restaurant made for an exclusive feel to the holiday. Fish around the house reef abundant so snorkelling was superb. Donald, the Guest Relations Manager couldn't have done more to facilitate a brilliant fortnight.

Fantastic place to stay! Great snorkelling and very relaxing surroundings. Very attentive staff and immaculate surroundings including our villa.

We were All Inclusive, drinks are only paid for before 10am and after midnight. There is no night life . Boat trips can be taken to other islands and one can go fishing.

Not strictly a resort but a collection of jewels in the Indian Ocean. Stunning scenery, turquoise waters teaming with marine life

The resort is going through a lot of changes a new pool and bar being built and reception being decorated. A lot of the land villa's are also being refurbished. I believe they were doing too much at once and did hear a few people complaining about the noise from the power tools. I am sure this resort will look fabulous next year with the improvements. We look forward to going back next year to see them. I highly recommend Meeru to you I dont want to go anywhere else on holiday.For relaxation, beautiful beaches,wonderful food and drinks and staff so willing to serve you with a smile.

See Chayya Reef review many islands are in this Atol with varying facilities but I have not seen them all, Only here and Mayafushi.
