where do i begin. this is absolutely the best hotel in all of cancun for food, location, service, and atomsphere. The hotel is situated on the beach and is has great views from all rooms.

There is a wide variety of food for breakfast and lunch and dinner and snacks. The amount that is on offer is unbelievable. they also cater for kids. If you are going as a couple don't worry you don't see the kids as they are far to busy playing in there own area. There are demostrations of massages everyday by the pool and you can get a free mini head and shoulder massage before you decide to book. You can literally lay by the pool all day and not move as they have service come around to you and bring the food and drink to you to eat at your seat. If you don't like the bar menu you can choice of a buffet or choose of an a la carte menu. this holiday is so relaxing.

The shops are fanastic and you make big savings on lots of named brands ie diesel, gucci to name but two. They also have mac donalds and pizza hut if you get bored of all that rich food. trust me you won't though. There is no such thing as drink measures. Bottle is tipped and you say when you want them to stop. The hotel is so clean that there is a man that goes around the pool picking up leaves as they fall of the trees. There is also a boy whose job is to go up and down in the lifts cleaning the glass all day.

If you're on your honeymoon then they will set a special table out on the edge of the sea surrounded by candles and serve your meal whislt the sun is going down . It truely is a hotel that has left nothing to chance and just gets better and better the more i think of it.it is ideal as you get on the bus and of where you like for five pence.

You are better to go all inclusive as it can be expensive to eat and drink out. maid service is twice a day and the rooms are all gorgeous.Staff are friendly and welcoming. In the bar before you finish one drink another will be waiting for you before you ask for it. The people of cancun are all friendly, nice and welcoming. you really will love your holiday in this hotel.

I have recently come back from my honeymoon in Cancun and can honestly say I had the time of my life. The hotel is fantastic and the service the best I have ever encountered. The food was lovely and even though I had a dodgy stomach for 7 days I still managed to wolf the food down as it was that nice. The weather was brilliant even though it was the rainy season, in fact it was like being in a fan assisted oven alot of the time, but the rooms are fully air conditioned so give you some respite from the heat.

One thing I will comment on is that everyone requires a tip, from the jetski guy to the man at the airport who whisks your bags off before you've had time to blink. The people were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

The maids were excellent and we had our towels changed EVERYDAY! We went to Coco Bongo's for a night and paid $40 to get in and this was supposed to include all drinks, however when you tried to get a drink from the bar the barmen wouldn't serve you unless you gave them a very good tip, hence actually paying for your drinks afterall. You have been warned. Your best bet is to go on the bar crawl that the reps arrange. It's not like something in Faliraki where you have to drink a pint through a sock, it was very civilised and the reps made sure you were having a good time and not getting ripped off.

Our rep, Sam was brilliant and couldn't do enough to make sure our honeymoon was as special as it could be. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone and we also upgraded our flight seats and would do so again as the extra leg room was well worth it. We went on a few trips to Tulum and Xel-ha and these were well worth going on although Tulum was very hot, take water with you.

The highlight for me was swimming with the dolphins at Isla Mujeres and it is something I will never forget. It was quite expensive but well worth it. Trevor, our dolphin trainer was a right laugh, and a northern lad. I think he was pleased to hear another northerner. The sea was the clearest I have ever seen and the sand on the beach was like walking on flour, SUPERB. We watched the sunrise on two occasions and this is well worth getting up for at 6.15am. All in all a fab time in a fantastic location and a honeymoon I will remember with only the fondest of memories. Enjoy!!

What can I say! Absolutely fantastic! First time in Cancun and my sister and I definetly agree that we MUST return!

The Fiesta Americana Cancun was just perfect - incredibly clean and very classy! The lobby alone had me astounded! Our room was huge and very well equipped with the best view of the Caribbean Sea anyone could wish for - I felt incredibly lucky to be there! The staff were brilliant - always smiling and couldn't do enough for you - they didn't serve you grudgingly though, I think they genuinely wanted you to have a good holiday!

You can do as much or as little as you like (in my case, that was not much at all - the place is so good it practically begs for you to be lazy!)

The pool area was amoung the best I have ever seen - with no deep end in the pool itself!! About 4 feet deep to be exact, which suited me fine!

The private beach was definetly the best part though - white sand, turquoise sea and a friendly waitress serving you cocktails all day long - bliss!

The food was very good too - although the choice could have been greater - saying that, there was enough for me not to eat the same thing twice in a week.

I have to say I didnt really venture out of the hotel much so I cant really comment on the resort itself - although what I did see didn't really bring the word 'culture' to mind! But then I knew that before I went - didn't bother me in the slightest!

We did go to the Aquarium at the Placa La Isla, which was fantastic! There, we saw (and touched) all kinds of marine life, then swam with the dolphins which was a dream come true!

Chichen Itza was interesting, but after I nearly passed out from the heat it kind of lost its appeal! Still worth a visit though

Just gotta mention the Mexican men - they were so funny! Had a great sense of humour, and we were something of a novelty in our hotel as we were the only British people there - the rest were American!

As for Cancun Airport, We didn't experience any of the problems the other people on here had - we sailed through the airport, didn't have our luggage searched and only paid 10 US dollars each departure tax! One of the best holiday airport experiences I've had!

All in all, a fabulous holiday that I will not forget in hurry! Highly recommended

oh, one last thing - for all those fed up with MyTravel and Thomson etc, why not try Vir-gin? They are just excellent - ok, the flight did go via Miami but its definetly worth it - more legroom on normal seats, wonderful meals and complimentary drinks - and most importantly, the baggage allowance is a lot more generous! Vir-gin are simply the best in my opinion!!!
