"All about the location"
Overall Hotel Rating:
The hotels location is spot on, right next to the museumplein and canal and one minutes walk from the Vondelpark and Holland Casino. A couple of minutes away is the Leidseplein. Tram stop round the corner with frequently running trams both towards Centraal Station and also Amsterdam Zuid. Yes rooms are quite small but you're in Amsterdam! Chances are you won't be staying in your room much. Also they are really nicely finished with a great power shower. The reception/bar area was very nice and there was a TV showing all the World Cup games. Staff were really nice and helpful. We did get this on late rooms and so were only paying 80 euros a night which for THIS in Amsterdam is absolutely amazing. Some places didn't even have a toilet in the room for that. If I could get it at this price again - and a bit more, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
