Great Location easily accessable from UK and Ireland, with great year round weather. This is one of my favourite places for a few days or a few weeks when UK weather gets all too depressing. Food and drink very reasonable in terms of price and can be very good in terms of quality as long as you keep your wits about you. Stay clear from most of the UK themed places and look for the genuine local resturants and you won't go far wrong interms of quality or the bill at the end.

A good resort. Plenty of nightlife if you want it within a short taxi ride. Perfect for families. There are a variety of restaurants and shops with reasonable prices.

"albureira old town was lovely"

the resort was lovely but beware it is very expensive to live in.. there is a lot if enetertainment in old town for mature ppl but the new strip is more for young people it has nice beaches

Abit remote but the holiday village hotel gives you everything you need.
We didn't go out of our hotel so can't say what the resort was like

A lot of sharp broken shells on the beach. Night life in the old town great.Eating out a lot better than Monica Isabel food.

Very quiet resort, we were All inclusive so didn't really eat out. There is a nice couple of pubs near the hotel and a wine bar.

The resort quite queit but it was early season as it was 2nd week of easter holidays, some shops looked like they had their merchandise for quite a few years...... packet of biscuits we brought were out of date!!!!!!! sun lotion was really over priced so take plenty. we didnt eat out or drink out in the evening as it was all free in the hotel....

We have eaten the best icecream in ICECAFE Carvoeiro. They olso know to make a very good cappuccino. You find it near Carehire Auto Jardim

Amazing restaurants Ideal restaurant was very good, the mixed kebab and secret pork both went down well and Ramirez is a must for their PiriPiri-go upstairs if you want a more casual meal but this place is all about fun and taste. If you cross the EN125 at the 'chicken roundabout' and take the Algoz road- about 400m on the right is O Teodosio-worth the 20 min walk for even better chicken.

Very quiet apart from the runway. The two cafes on the sea front sold excellent, cheap food that was hot. the hotel could learn from them.

"Lively, friendly and fun "

Brilliant lively resort, great people watching and cocktails! Lots of souvenir shops and bars and restaurants on the strip. Take the land train to the old town which is still lively but more old fashioned and a lovely place for an evening stroll. Great meal right on the beachfront.

"Beautiful Resort in a stunning Country"
resort to a friend
The weather this time of year was brill with temps ranging from 25 - 31 degrees, the beach was very nice and although things are starting to slow down plenty of acts were still perfoming on a night.
Overall a fantastic holiday with beautiful weather, great food in a great resort will defo be returningback to Albufeira.
