Overall Hotel Rating:
We stayed in the Korston serveral times in 2010 and are still coming back as we have not found a better package up to now in Moscow. If you can live with the location outside center city to the south and have some budget constraints I highly recommend the Korston. Pricing is reasonable, but the service level is sub-standard but that's not much different in other Moscow hotels.
During our last visit in July we noticed that the Casino has re-opened at least slot machines. Not sure if that's a good or a bad thing.

"nice quiet hotel with great views"

The views from Korston Hotel are great, it is surrounded by beautiful park and river, yet only takes 10 minutes walk to the metro station Vorobevi Gory. The rooms are large and tastefully furnished with good sound insulations; I had a very good night sleep there. Free wi-fi was available in room which was valuable for keeping in touch with friends. Breakfast was very good. Staffs were very polite, but not very helpful, they could not answer my questions regarding tourist attractions in Moscow, a bit unusual really. The lobby area was very noisy and a bit Las Vegas feel to it. Also, a number of prostitutes waiting around in the lobby area.
