Anyone who does not like Benidorm should not go abroad. Something for everyone and you don't have to look far. Buses are 1.45 euros clean and regular

Nothing like its reputation ! Something for everyone to see and do. For anyone who thinks that Benidorm is cheap and tacking i can assure you its not - yes it has its usual share of naff gift shops, where doesn't, but it also has plenty of more upmarket shops and places to eat.

Lovely resort although needs updating and a few repairs. Lots of the pavements are in need of repair and also needs a good clean. Beaches are lovey but also need a good clean. Lot of cigarettes and rubbish seen at night. Lovely to walk down the promenade down the old beach too. Took us ages but was a great walk. If you have young kids avoid the bars at the weekends as lot of stag and hen do's about. Shouting and swearing and wearing minimal clothes at times! Not really suitable for young kids eyes!

Great promenade and good beaches. Plenty of nightlife for those who want it. Public transport OK with standard fares but Spanish Bus Companies could do far more to make the services more user friendly. Excellent train facilities and very good value.

Not for everybody I suppose, wouldn't have chosen it myself but kids wanted to come.

The Old Town is great, loads of bustling atmosphere in the evening from the mostly Spanish. The 'English' end is exactly what you'd expect from the ITV series (incidentally they were filming in Morgans (Neptunes) Bar at the time we were there, Sheila Reid was talking to people outside). It was also invaded by hundreds of stag/hen dos at the weekend. The 'other' end is much quieter and more pleasant.

Terra Mitica is a good theme park, Terra Natura and Mundomar were excellent days out too.

Resort is pretty shabby. Beach is beautiful. Food to eat out is extortionate - much more than UK. Resort appears to be full of petty thieves, pickpockets and scammers. My daughter had her phone stolen from a table in a cafe in broad daylight surrounded by a lot of other people. Look out for opportunists. I tried to report it to the police who were totally unhelpful - having walked 20 minutes to the station I was told that I needed ID to report a crime. Took a taxi back to the hotel and back to the station as was told that the English interpreter would be there all day. When I returned I was told that the interpreter would not be there for nearly 2 hours so we waited. When we were eventually seen the officer would not make a crime report as I did not have the IMEI number for the phone - the phone was not a contract phone so I could not get this fro the phone company. I told him I needed a reference number to claim on the insurance but he would not make the report. I told him that I could describe the 2 guys who had stolen it and what they were wearing as they were dressed identically so it looked as though they worked for a company. He was not interested. He said that I did not know they had stolen the phone as I did not see them. Seems to me that they want to keep their crime numbers down. The police officer sitting at the reception desk said that there were too many English people in the police station as there was someone else there reporting a stolen phone. So it appears they want your euros (whichever way they can get them off you) but are not really interested in helping when things go wrong. I cannot imagine receiving that kind of treatment at a Police station in the UK.

Love Benidorm, suitable for all ages, beaches nice and clean, plenty of places to eat and drink, everyone seems very friendly and on the occasions ive been i always feel safe.

great all rounder, Shop for hours, giant market twice a week, lovely walks along the beach front, cheap for eating and drinking out. and if you want to party all night this is the place to be. Great acts on every where. or have a nice relaxing holiday, As benidorm can be whatever you want it to be.

Something for everyone if you like adult entertainment and pubs/bars. Nothing much for kids during the evenings out and about.

Benidorm was quiet when we went in March but don't think i would like it in the middle of summer! A few more people in the bars would have given a better atmosphere - but at least we could get served easily & find a seat when required so it suited us nicely.

Benidorm has everything for everyone. You can have peace and quiet of the spotlessly clean beeches, shopping along Avenieda Meditterrano, The Market and the quaint spanish Old Town, or the night time entertainment in Levante or at the Benidorm Palace. Nothing like the soap and a facinating place to go on holiday, unwind and have a great time,
