"service with a smile"
Overall Hotel Rating:
After booking in at the hotel, the porter took charge of our cases and took them to our apartment, he was very helpful. But alas we found that our apartment was on the third floor which was too much for my wife as there is no lift. Through some misunderstanding on our part with the travel agent we expected our apartment to be on the second floor which my wife could manage. There was no way could she go up and down all those stairs three, four or more times a day. We decided that if nothing could be done to change our apartment, we would be better off going back home. We explained our problem to our Thomson rep but said we would understand if nothing could be done. She took us to the desk and explained our problem to a staff member, who then got the hotel manager. She explained to him and asked if we could be put in a lower second floor apartment or better still a ground floor one. He said No, nothing is available and all ground floor apartments are larger and for families only. He then got our booking forms and said we had been given the apartment we had requested. We said the fault was entirely ours due to a misunderstand with our travel agent, and not the fault of the hotel, and further persuasion by our wonderful Thomson Rep, he suddenly changed his mind and could not have been more helpful. He then made arrangements to have our cases collected from our original apartment, and got the porter to take them to a lovely ground floor apartment. It was so much better and larger than the original one. Further more although we stated that we were well prepared to pay more for the change, he declined and said ‘No it will not be necessary, enjoy your holiday’. Now that is what I call service. Our thanks to ‘Palm Beach Club’ for a lovely holiday, and our wonderful Thomson Reps. For families with children, it has all you need.

"Great Holiday"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Had an excellent holiday, the hotel had everything you could want, backed on to beach with direct access. Short walk in to Playa D'en Bossa centre but equally far enough way that the location is quiet and you're not bothered by other hotels. Hotel entertainment was good and food was excellent. Quite a busy hotel so great for families, not so ideal for a romanti get away perhaps.

"Fiesta Palm Beach "
Overall Hotel Rating:
The hotel was absolutely beautiful , it is a simple but modern hotel. The rooms were perfect size for 4 people and the beds were very long and comfortable. we found that the thompson reps were absolutely brilliant with the younger children as this is what they specialised in looking after and running childrens clubs and entertainment. The fiesta reps were brilliant and Aitor was amazing with the children and with teens and adults , he brought alot of comfort and happiness to the hotel and was at the heart of all the adult and teen entertainment as was Harry another fiesta rep. Aitor was working every single day more or less 24/7 if anybody wanted to chat to him he would listen and have a full on conversation with you . Also harry would do the same the two were brilliant with enteratinment and making the hotel what it really is , i have to add jenny , sally and maz were brilliant , when i go back next year i would really like Aitor , Harry , Jenny , Sally , and Maz to be there. Food was lovely had at least 50 different meals to choose from every meal , and service was quick and easy access , the hotel staff were very nice and polite and helped with any questions you had. overall the value for money is excellent , and it is more of a 5* star rating than a 3*.

"Amazing"
Overall Hotel Rating:
What can i say OMG!! this was by far one of the best holidays we have been on. We went as a party of 6, 4 adults 2 kids 3 and 6 through Thomsons. From start to finish the staff were fantastic we sent the hotel a E-mail a week B4 we went askin if we could have Rooms next to each other on the 1st floor with a pool view this was exactly what we got!! The food was really good with plenty of choice only down side was because we went low season they didn't have the kids selection but there was always plenty for them to have. The entertainment all through the day was fantastic not only did thomsons have a team there making sure your kids were their No 1 prority they also had a fantastic Fiesta club team that work all through the day. The beach is on the doorstep u get a keycard to let u in and out but thats a good thing as u get plenty of lucky lucky men on the beach. Even though the airport is close by there wasn't much noise aircraft did fly over on a regular basis but it didn't bother us at all it was only 10 seconds at a time! We heard NOTHING at night at all .

"Palm Beach...."
Overall Hotel Rating:
After having stayed at the Don Toni twice we thought we would try the Palm Beach for a change! The hotel itself is a bit further out from the Don Toni, approx 10 - 15 minute walk to get to the main strip of shops, bars restaurants etc. Brilliant location in regards to the beach - its right on it! You walk out of the gates to the back of the pool area and you are on the beach. The beach is so lovely - white soft sand & shallow clear waters where you can see small fish swimming around. Pool is good - very large with a smaller shallower pool for babies/toddlers. Sundbed situation is not so good......you basically have to set your alarm for 5 - 5.30am every morning in order to get a sunbed with a parasol. There are plenty of sunbeds (not so many parasols) so I really dont understand why people do this?!! Annoying as well that alot of people reserve beds then dont show up til after 1pm!! Obviously this is not only a problem at this hotel but at many others too. Food is good and there is plenty to choose from - always lots of salads & fruit available, at least 4 varieties of meat each meal time plus burgers, hotdogs, chicken and things like lasagne, spaghetti/pasta with sauces etc etc. One of my sons is a very fussy eater - he never went hungry and suprisingly enough didnt live on chips for 2 weeks!! Plenty for kids to do with activities throughout the day from 10am. The Thomson kids club is also very good, giving you 2 hours peace each day if you need it! They also do afternoon and evening activities such as dvd sessions & pyjama parties etc. Now onto the not so good stuff.........the staff throughout most of the hotel are RUDE & ARROGANT beyond belief!! With the exception of the man on the door in the restaurant, a couple of the reception and bar staff and the cleaners the rest are not worth even mentioning!! Anyway other than that small bad point I would recommend this hotel, although I personally do still prefer the Don Toni. They are much they same but staff in Don Toni more friendly and the location is better as it is only 5 minute walk into town.

"good value"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Thoroughly enjoyed this holiday- rooms basic but clean. Must say the maids did a brill job, they would spend a good 45-1 hour in each room and were very friendly. The rooms have safes in them, although it was a bit of a rip off as they charged a non refundable 28 euro to use it. However, better to be safe. The apartments are two storey so if you have pushchairs or wheel chairs I would advise to request a ground floor room as there are no lifts! It wasn't an issue for use as we didn't mind carrying pushchair up and down stairs. We upgraded to all inclusive when we got there at approx 17euro a day per adult (11 child) extra. I would recommend for all to do this as you really do get your monies worth if your a family- cheaper in the long run! Large pool clean pool, kids spent most of the day in there. Hard to get sunbeds but thats everywhere you go! Beach is right next to resort, which is ideal! The beach is okay aswell, nice and clean. Food- we found there was a good selection of food, ideal for families with pickie children! Restaurant staff super fast. Entertainment is okay, great children entertainment- not so good if you have no kids. Other facilities include mini golf, Thomson clubs and small kids park. Hotel is about 15-20 minute walk from resort centre, nice little stroll.

"Excellent place to stay, would return"
Overall Hotel Rating:
I stayed here with my family of 3 children in august 2009. I would have to say that i thought this hotel was brilliant for the children. Entertained all day and even on evenings (film clubs for them) The hotel itself is very clean, the maids and staff are extremely friendly. I would recommend the all inclusive option, drinks and snacks can be expensive otherwise, and it is well worth the money at this hotel. Palm beach has a large swimming pool, with the beach next door which is accessed with a card, there is a mini golf and play area for the kids. The hotel itself is fairly relaxed, and is a 5 minute walk into the resort of playa den bossa.Entertainment finishes about 12, and it becomes very quiet around that time. In town There is plenty of decent bars, which have a good atmosphere. A big nightclub, great for teenagers. Plenty of little gift shops to look round. Lots of watersports happening on the beach and a bus service regularly operates to other resorts Overall i would throughly recommend this brilliant hotel, would suit any type of family.

"Not Bad ...."
Overall Hotel Rating:
Having been to Palm Beach nearly 20 years ago we decided to take our young family back. It has really not changed (at all!!) in all this time, perhaps a little more mature obviously. Overall, if you want a fairly basic hotel but with a great location on the beach and a lovely pool area then this is for you. It has real potential but perhaps needs to be updated and brought into 2009. Generally okay - some will love it, some will hate it, staff were great though and the children LOVED it!

"great hotel"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Just got back from my holiday this morning. Hotel was lovely, staff were friendly and had an amazing holiday. The rooms were very clean only down side is that it said in the brochure that there was air conditioning but there wasn't any at all, except for a fan on the ceileing which done absolutely nothing. It says in the brochure that all appliances such as kettle and hairdryer etc. would be in the room but there was nothing. We had to pay !&euros for a fan which blowed hot air and wasn't willing to pay any extra.
The area was lovely, was 10 minutes away from Space nightclub but was very quiet which I was suprised. The hotel was fantastic for families with small children as they did shows every night and was even entertainment around the pool for children and adults. Was quite funny seeing people doing the aerobics in the pool throughout the day. Would definately go back to this hotel as long as they put the air conditioning in as it was far too hot in the room as the sun set on our balcony.

"Not the best"
Overall Hotel Rating:
I was very dissapointed with this hotel, sunbeds were packed so tightly you never had to buy the daily newspaper. The rooms were damp, tired looking, and cleaned daily with a dirty mop! ( my daughter was just crawling at the time so i had to re-clean the floor after the cleaners left daily!) The reception staff were terribly rude, the hotel seemed to constantly have more people there than they could comfortably cater for, and the resort itself was pretty grubby. All in all I wouldnt bother going back, there are so many nicer places to go to in Ibiza, and they are a lot cheaper than Palm Beach- Save your money and go to Fiesta Hotel Calla Nova in Es Cana, or any of the hotels/apartments in Calla Llonga, they are both so much nicer!

"A bit out of the way"
Overall Hotel Rating:
We found the location to be quite a way from the main resort of playa den bossa. With only one local shop which is owned by the hotel, you were forced to pay their extremely high prices. Also we found our sheets (although changed daily) to be quite damp. The entertainment staff tried very hard with limited resourses, but the childrens club reps were very good. Not a place if you want to explore of have young kids who dont like walking.
