We had a wonderful time in barcelona, and if you want to get about would recomend using the subway, its clean and reasonabley priced. We went to all the popular places there and loved it. The down side was there was crime and we were cased by a group of people on the subway but nothing happend and the police stopped these people as they looked suspicious. If you go here i would advise not to wear any jewelry whatsoever, and dress down, try not to look as if you have money. dont take bags and if you must have them under your coat. A good thing i found handy was my satnav, as it meant knowing where to go when leaving the subway (priceless). The other thing i found annoying was the price of the food here, and more so off the las ramblas area. It was so expensive I ended up eating in mcdonalds and saved my money for going to the tourist attractions around the city.

remeber there is lots of unemployment in spain at the moment so bear this in mind when you go, dont stand out and have nothing on show and you will have a great time as we did.

Barcelona isn't only an entertainment destination as everybody thinks, but there is on the contrary so much to see! I wished I could have stayed there longer! Don't miss Casa Batlló, Museo Picasso, Plaza España, Montjuic Castle.

Close to rail station, about 10 mins walk. If you are with car there is option to drive to zone 1 station where the car park is free and the ticket is cheeper.

Salou is a tourist town full of shops with souvenirs, clothes and assorted stuff. A good choice of restaurants and bars. The beach is clean and offers refreshments and snacks. Not much see for sightseers.

Bubbling with plenty of things to see and do. Getting around the city is simple and quiet strolls are recommended. The city has a true international feel with plenty of places to sit and drink and watch the world go by.

We had been warned that Barcelona was expensive and this proved to be the case, however a Sunday walk along Barceloneta was free and very entertaining, as was window shopping andexploring the Boqueria Market and Las Ramblas. We were recommended by friends to visit Port Olympic for a seafood dinner and this was a fabulous evening for a relatively reasonable cost. There is so much to see and do here, we will definitely return at some point in the future.

Absolutely gutted to have come home, had the most amazing time, cocktails on the ramblas by day, irish pubs and a few clubs at night, tapas galore! my favorite city yet, did all the usual tourist things, nou camp, catherdral, magic fountains, the ramblas, ice skating and the zoo, didn't get a minute. I would recommend this city to anyone, you would never struggle for something to do!

A bit of a disappointment after other city breaks but the poor weather will have had an impact on the overall feeling of the weekend break. I would not go back as I did not feel there was enough to see to warrant a second visit.

Lots to see and do, didnt get a miniute spare, went on the open top bus tour, nou camp, sagradia famillia, Mount Juic, zoo, watched the magic fountains (these are a must see) Food was excellent, lots of choice, and loved the bars at night, Saving for our next trip

This is a great beach town in Spain that has plenty of great restaurants, cafes and bars, many on the beach front. The transport connectiosn are good with trains, trams and buses offering a regular service. The beach is lovely and has a nice marina. You can sunbath on the beach or just stroll along the pedestrian area on the beach front.

I was very impressed by this city and enjoyed the nightlife which was amazing with loads of late night bars.

There is a castle in the centre of the town for people who like cultural holidays.

The metro station zone 2 was close to the hotel. It was quiet easy to find the hotel and the parking space was enough. Zone 1 were close with car park. The metro ticket is cheaper for zone 1 than this include zone 2

It was quiet easy to find the hotel. The transport from the hotel was only metro. It was 7 min walking distance and easy to find. The parking was big enough. It was in the busyness park and wasn't expensive. We travelled with car 5 min to get to 1 zone were we park our car in the metro station. The metro ticket is cheaper for zone 1.

Beautiful, green with more blue flag beaches all within easy reach. Fresh seafood and wonderful local wines. Really is a must a so different from the Spain you think you know.

This part of Spain really has something for everyone. Numerous blue flag beaches to choose from, wonderful fresh shellfish and fish served on wonderful open air restaurants overlooking the sea. Pretty towns to visit plus beautiful inland villages. The people are hospitable and nothing seems to be any trouble! All in all fantastic!
