"Tired and dated"

I would not recommend this place to anyone, nor will I return. The whole ethos of the place was to make as much money out of the guest as possible. Whilst there i made my thoughts known to the staff, it took 3 days to repair a leaking sink. 2 days to have the balcony furniture clean to a standard that you could sit on it.

it was 1euro 70 for 150mls of beer? 40euros to hire a small fridge for the week 17euros to use the wifi, thats per appliance.

No avoid coming here if you can, there areplenty of good 3 star Hotels in Palma Nova than this

"Don't go to this hotel"

This hotel was the worse hotel we have ever stayed in .The food was awful, my daughter barely ate there because the was no children's food. The all inclusive was a rip off because all the snacks was toasties and hot dogs. There is not a great deal of choice for your main meals. The entertainment was the same entertainers day and night and on a Tuesday they all have the day and night off which makes the hotel quiet and more boring than it usually is. I'm an early riser and i could not get a coffee or tea until 8am.There is a lot more that I can say about this hotel but I haven't got time so all I advise you is to not stay there.

"NOT AS GOOD AS IT USED TO BE!"

Travelled to this hotel July/Aug 2011 and this was about the 10th time staying here. Definitely the worst stay to date and it's put us off coming back this year. On entering our room there was broken glass everywhere in the room and even a massive piece of broken glass in one of the beds!!! How the maid could've missed it, god only knows. I dread to think what would've happened if we'd not noticed this and my little boy had climbed in to sleep at bedtime. We reported it to reception and they were very apologetic and had a maid come and sort it out. Still found small shards of glass afterwards but they just kept cropping up in places you wouldn't expect, so not surprising the maid did miss some bits. There were apparently a load of yobs staying in the room before us! Sadly there were still some left on our arrival and they enjoyed themselves with their loud music day and night and playing football along the corridor - nice! Not! Luckily they all cleared off within a couple of nights and it was quieter.

Overall, if you're looking for cheap and cheerful with no frills then stay here. I wouldn't really suggest it for families with small kids though.

Other bad points: Sunloungers - sadly this happens at most places I know, but if you came down to breakfast at 8am then went straight out to the pool afterwards, the chances of getting a sunbed was non existant. The usual yobs and families travelling in a group of 8 or more always hog the beds by putting their towels on them at stupid o'clock. Safe to say we went to the beach most days!

Good points: We've always found the restaurant staff very friendly here, but I think it always help if you do try and interact with them. You'll get on much better if you do. Just the usual politeness goes a long way with please and thank you's in Spanish if you can.

Stayed in this hotel from 3rd May 2012 to 6th May 2012 on a girls weekend away trip. This hotel is suitable for hens , stags & party groups. We enjoyed it thoroughly but would not advise families with children or the older end to stay here. All inclusive was excellent value for money & location was 5 mins to beach. A lot of rowdiness & some guest quite rude .... not much respect towards the hotel staff. I would stay here again but only with my girl friends :).

we went to this hotel 4 years in a row and loved it but after not going on holiday for 3 years we went back to mimosa park and found it had gone downhill. they no longer cater for kids in the restaurant which is bad for a hotel full of kids, the air conditioning does not work well anymore, and although the entertainment team were lovely and did their best the entertainment was very poor and much to everyones surprise they had saturday off and we sat in a very quiet hotel with not even some background music. i had great times in this hotel in the past but will not be back again

stayed here due to it's location - close enough to the night life but also far away enough for peace. the staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. everywhere was clean. the rooms were quite spacious and ours had a great view, although the walls are very thin, we ended up changing room as our neighbours woke us in the early hours after a night out. the food was ok, it was quite simple and a bit repetitive but there was sth for everyone. kids facilities and entertainment were pretty standard.

I stopped at the Mimosa with a friend as two young girls we wanted somewhere which was close enough to the nightlife but far enough away if we wanted a quiet night etc.. The Mimsoa is on a main road and is about a 15/20 minute walk into Magaluf obviously depending on where abouts you wish to be.. If your not a fan of walking that distance each time you want to go into Magaluf we did ask the reception to order us a taxi - which they are happy to do for you and to get to the main strip it cost us roughly 5 euros each time. The food is good yet not much choice if you like chips and pork then there is always something for you, pasta is also a favourite of the chefs too! The sunday dinner is lovely though and although you dont have much of a choice the food is nice! The Pool is quite shallow in most areas with just a red tiled area in the corner where it is actually deep, i wouldnt say the hotel has a childrens pool there is a rather small pool but it is still quite deep for toddlers to paddle around in. Sunbeds were easy enough to find even after lunch but we did go in September, I can imagine it to be difficult in high season. The entertainment around the pool isnt very good and the night entertainment we found quite boring if you like bingo etc then you would enjoy it, but we didnt stick around very long to find out what else they had to offer. The weather was lovely rather hotter than we expected! I felt the air conditioning in the room was not good enough especially if the weather had been hotter before we stayed there. The rooms themselves need a bit of updating and the beds are not the most comfortable but for a week you cant complain really.. as it was clean! The beach is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel and is lovely alot better than Magaluf beach! 3.60 for each sunbed and 3.60 for a parasol - tad expensive but if your staying there allday it is worth it. We did go to Mallorca Rocks to see The Streets final ever gig along with DJ Fresh & Nicola Bear - paying 50euro which is a bit expensive but it was very good and worth the money in our opinion! We also went to Pirates which was 47euros but AMAZING no matter who you are you would love it! Gobsmacking! BCM is brilliant pay 30euro get all inclusive drinks plus it was all closing down parties whilst we were there! All in all i would recommend this hotel to younger people - couples or groups of people wanting somewhere a bit out of the way from all the hussle and bussle but close enough to join in at night time!

"Looks arent everything"

Hotel overall looked great when we arrived and checkin was quick and efficient - but - were met by bunch of teenage lads heading out who said "good luck, hope your not on the 9th floor" - well we were and soon realised the problems. Firstly the lift, I have not been on a more scarey theme park ride, you think the bottom is gonna fall out everytime it stops. 9th floor (party floor) for the 6 nights we stayed we were woken by groups of "party" animals screaming up and down the corridor, banging on any door they came to and didnt give a stuff when security were called as nothing was followed up on. The room was adequate enough with plenty of storage but the mattres on my bed was fortified with an old bit of carpet from the corridor (room 901 bed near the door if you need to check)!! I dont even want to talk about the pillows...Maid service was good and the maids were friendly as was most of the reception and dining room staff. small pool didnt bother us as we used the beach most days. Bar staff could be grumpy but you could see why, not enough staff, too many unnecessary trips to the bar for small glasses. restaurant bar staff much nicer. On to the food. The salads were great as were the breakfasts but I now know how to cook pork 99ways as that seemed to be the only choice of meat while we were there. As with the last person who commented, my 17 year old, non fussey eater of a daughter stuck to chips peas and gravy! Good location near cheap supermarket and a very short walk into town and the pubs/restaurants. I dont think I would go back to Mimosa Park unless they get the larger lout population sorted out!

"Worth what we paid"

Overall Hotel Rating:

Open quote

I think we must have been staying at this hotel during the same week as who wrote the previous review! We only paid £250 each half board but would not have been happy to pay any more than that The food, well, there is a lot of choice, but literally the same stuff EVERY night Great if you like chips, pork or fish! I dont like pork or fish so my evening meal was a chip cob every night! Same desserts every night as well The pool was ok, on the small side to say how big the hotel is Pool area not very tidy, with plastic cups blowing everywhere which the hotel re-uses Also very loud music blasting out which we didnt like as you cannot relax We dont mind music just not as loud as it was! However, we did find a little terraced area just off the inside bar area so sunbathed there a lot which we preferred Location is very good, just up from the beach & about a 25 minute walk to Magaluf or 5 euros in a taxi This was our 2nd stay at this hotel, with a 5 year gap between There is a big need for an up-date as absolutely nothing had changed during the 5 years! Rooms, paint, restaurant, pool area, reception were all exactly the same The 1st time at this hotel it was mainly families staying there, but this time it was full of groups drinking all day & night Dont get me wrong Im not a party pooper but didnt appreciate being woken up at 5am every morning with them all rolling in then having to step over people sleeping in the corridor on my way to breakfast! I would stay here again if I went with friends, but this isnt really a family orientated hotel anymore Then again if i wanted a boozy holiday i would probably be more inclined to stay in Magalluf!

"Never want to see pork and chips again"

Overall Hotel Rating:

Hotel should be 2 star rating. Variety of food minimal, pool area not tidy. Long queues for the bar in the evening. Room floor and sheets not cleaned for entire stay of 14 nights. Problem with leak in the bathroom which hotel did not resolve. Not ideal for couples, elderly or children in high season as mainly accomidates young groups who will be loud when coming back at 5/6am in the morning. staff were very grumpy and not willing to help out at all.

Good hotel, some cleanliness issues with the bathroom. The maids also did not lock the room door after cleaning and therefore there is some security issues.

Pool is fantastic and entertainment is excellent.

Unfortunately, in the restaurant bar they only serve 1 type of lager.

Just got back form a shortbreak to this hotel, room was cleaned every day and fresh towels. Food was good for a 3 * pleanty of choice and good quality one gripe you only got small measures of drinks 1/2 beer and smaller wine and sangria which meant double trips to bars. plenty to do round the pool during day games and quizes bingo at night and the reps put on a good show dont miss the Elvis very good show.

Staff where friendly and worked very hard

would go back again
