Sa Barrera Hotel Reviews

The hotel, which has been recently refurbished, was very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very well equiped each having a balcony or terrace. There was a TV in the room (for catching up on the world cup).

We invited friends, who were staying else where, to have dinner with us in the hotel and the food was marvalous. The chef prepared an Italian feast. Pool and sun terrace were well maintained. Steps down to the beach were steap and numerous so not ideal for the less able. Resort is on the door step but does not intrude. Quite at night so getting sleep was not a problem. During the low season we booked for only a few days and the hotel was very accomodating. Meals can be eaten in the hotal restraunt or on the terrace by the pool. Many on the rooms have beautiful views over the bay.

All in all we had a great stay and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Menorca with in quick tansfer from the airport(only 15 mins).

Stayed at the Sa Berrara hotel for one week. Good basic accomadation for the price we payed, nice pool rooms cleaned every day. We went on a bed and breakfast basis and the breakfast was very good plenty of choice.
It was our first visit to menorca and we thourougly enjoyed it. The resort itself is very quiet but if you want a relaxing holiday then i would reccomend Calan Porter.

We hired a car at Hipper Rent A Car 110 Euros for four days,we explored most of the island and it was very easy to drive (traffic non exsistant!) visited some lovely beaches would reccomend hiring a car.
All the restaurants in Calan Porter are very nice and reasonably priced,we didn't stick to one in particular we tried a different one every night.

The beach in Calan Porter is lovely,although the sunbeds are very expensive 16 Euros for two.
Be careful in the supermarkets, as our first day there we were short changed twice!

Menorca is a beautiful place and would definetly reccomend it if you want a nice relaxing holiday. We will be back!
