booked a great villa but pool was full of dead animals and the patternon the pool bottom turned out to be dead snails hundreds of them upstairs door on to balcony had broken lock to suggest the villa had previously been burgled we had to buy batteries for remote control for tv and the villa had a serious ant infestation which direct rep said was out of there control also every night we stayed [2] some sort of underground pump kept us awake most of the night

the village has a little shop but speaks no english but 10 mins away was a great supermarket and there was also a cricket ground 10 mins down road the village had a little bar and restaraunt but was very very dear no price list but i think he just made it up when he told us our bill after a meal and a few drinks we asked for a breakdown of the price he just wrote out our bill food 150 euro,s drink 80euro,s total 230 euro,s for 2 adults 2 kids pretty dear and he was english

llumacenes is a typical mecorcan village but very qiuet even for menorca be warned we was moved out of the villa not for any of the above but 2 days into our holls there is a plot of land next door to the villa and 2 diggers turned up and started work hence us being moved [the workmen told us it will be going on most of the summer as they are building a new villa ]
