We didnt go out of the hotel much at all to be honest! We did visit the bay and beach with our 7 year old daughter. The shops were as expected - holiday resort shops (toys, souveniers, icecream etc) supermarket, a couple of cafes and bars. The Blarney Stone bar does a great breakfast although nothing is particularly cheap (which is why this resort is so good as its all inclusive!) The beach is a bit of a let down. Obviously the sand is black which makes it very hot and therefore not suitable for families with small children. There are sunbeds available to put on the beach although these are at an extra cost. The bay is also fairly rocky which is also worth bearing in mind! The town however, is the best place to find car hire at a reasonable price! Although the walk down from the hotel is downhill and pleasant, it is a LONG way up! We surrendered and got a taxi back to the hotel!!!

Costa Adeje is a lovely area which has many nice hotels. The walks along the front are excellent with lovely sea views & seating. There is a good mix of top class shops as well as more reasonable places. Then twice a week open market is worth a visit & attracts visitors from all over. An area well worth staying in or visiting.

A pleasantly quiet location but only a short taxi or bus ride away from busy areas of the island. Plenty of leisurely strolls to take in the fantastic views of the island. If it's romantic sunsets you like then this is the place to visit.

Family fun in every corner of this resort. Adeje is packed with attractions Loro Parque, Aqualand and Siam along with camel treks, jungle play and of course mount teide. The resort is really accessible - you can walk for miles along the coast or catch a bus or cab anywhere. We hired a car (from canaries.com in the hotel complex, nit the one recommended by our rep - they were terrible and we refused to hire from them) and saw most of the island. Tenerife is a bit too commercial for our liking we prefer quieter resorts but have to say we found Adeje friendly, very clean and lots of things to do.

This is a very small and quiet resort with little or nothing to do outside the hotel. There are several reasonable supermarkets close to the hotel.

So much to do and see. Cost of food and drink still really cheap in comparison with other countries and almost guarantee weather!

We were very impressed with how clean and well-maintained the resort was. It had a great selection of up-market stores and very nice restaurants. Great adventure golf complexes.

This is only a small village with few amenities. It is a long walk to the nearest town with any decent shops and bars.

The resort is clean and well maintained. There are lots of the usual tourist shops but many up market designer shops as well. Great scope for long walks with a good bus service if you get tired. Although we did not go to the beach they looked clean and well organised. For a day out close to the resort I can thoroughly recommend Jungle Park. A free bus picks you up in resort for a 20 min drive into the hills to the park. Lots of animals and birds with a bird of prey display, sealion display and a parrot display. There is a good market on a Saturday and Thursday next door to the hotel which is worth going to.

The resort was basic but adequate. However Los Gigantes which is a 20 minute walk from the hotel is well worth a visit.

Ideal if you like walking, miles of coastal paths. Plenty to do if you want it, lots of quality shops. Too many touts and hawkers, but well patrolled by security.

This resort has it all lots to see and do taxis buses all available at very reasonable prices. The whole area is spotless and clean. Everyone was very friendly went to one bar and the owner warned us about pick pockets so beware.
