Just returned from Tunisia and have to say that the Oceana was a great place to relax. The staff and service was excellent, the food top class and plenty of it. The rooms were bigger than most hotel rooms with plenty of space, the sea view was lovely well worth the extra.Reception was most polite and efficient always having time for any queries.

I would go back to this hotel has it covers all the bases and more.

With two weeks to go to our holiday we got the dreaded phone call, (Hello there we need to talk to you about you holiday booking) We were upgraded from a 4* to a 5*+ so we were over the moon. We arrived at this palace like place which was out of this world, the reception area was bigger than my whole house it was amazing.

After checking in we were escorted to our room by the porter who wouldn't let us lift a finger. The room was massive and spotless we were very impressed, as we were unpacking there was a knock on the door and the same porter was back with an arrangement of roses for the lounge area and a single one for the vase in the bathroom, then he comes back two minutes later with a basket of fruit, wine and water, what more could we ask for. The hotel had everything you could wish for and more.

The weather was not too good so the indoor swimming pool was a blessing, it had plenty of sunbeds around it so it was a nice place to sit and relax after a swim. The facilities in the hotel were great there was a free turkish bath you could use any time of day or night, there was also a well equiped gym with top notch machinery, there was a hairdressers, beauty salon, massage and sauna if you wanted them at a charge. The restaurant was wonderful, the breakfast had everything you could have wished for from omelettes to pancakes all made on the spot to ensure absolute freshness. The meals in the evenings left nothing to the imagination there were chefs waiting to cook you anything you wanted more or less, the manager walked round every night with a themometer checking that the temperature of the food was up to scratch, the waiters treated us like royalty from pouring our water to carrying our food back to our table. The entertainment was not too good but we think it was because we went out of season this did not put us off and we would definately return to this hotel. The drinks were pricey but thats Tunisia not the hotel muslim country and all that.

The hotel is situated right on the beach were you can expereince a horse ride, pedalo, windsurf, jet ski and much more. If the weather were better it would have been paradise.
