Great Holiday Destination if you want something a little bit different that the Sun, Sea, Sand and Sangria offered in main European Destinations like Spain and Portugal. June-Aug VERY Warm - Expect 30 Degrees plus everyday although can be quite overcast at times so not as bad for sunburn as could be. Actually makes it bareable. Would recommend to anyone.

nothing to do outside the hotel for at least 1 mile either side. beach not bad . very grubby shops outside the hotel .

Sarigerme review
"Haven Holiday but more expensive"
resort to a friend
Thank goodness we discovered the lovely village and beach of Sarigerme where we enjoyed local hospitality and booked all our tours which were half the price of the hotel and with a superb local tour guide who spoke excellent English and was full of local and historical information. A wonderful escape from the incessant noise at the resort.

Didn't get out of hotel grounds as had 3 under 5 s. overall a bit disapointed as this came highly recommended and cost a lot of money for myself my wife and 3 girls.

It was our first visit to Icmeler and I would go back there again. As it was the start of the season it was not very busy but felt it would be suitable for all ages be it families, or couples.

Nothing here really except 2 all inc hotels..theres a supermarket up the hill but the hotel supermarket has the basics for just as cheap bus service to bodrum brilliant though where you can shop and get connecting buses anywhere from the bus station. We went to turgetries market, waterpark , gumbet . The dolmus services are excellent, wish buses were as good here!

Altinkum review
"Nice once in the main town"
resort to a friend
The walk from Palm Wings into Altinkum was a good 20 minutes or so with lots of men trying to get you to look at their wares or eat in the restaurant. Very friendly though and easily took no for an answer. Loads of shops for bartering for branded copies. Good quality products for copies.

This is a small resort, with beautiful beaches set in a small bay. It is close to the airport only a 30 minute transfer.
There a frequent buses to take you into Bodrum, for shops and nightlife. For us it was the perfect setting.

It is difficult to comment on this section as we stayed all inclusive at our hotel. We did, however, take a couple of trips to Bodrum and Turgetries and had lunch out etc. We enjoyed taking the dolmus for these trips and found it to be a cheap, enjoyable and easy way to get around. For those wishing to enjoy the nightlife outside the hotel it might mean getting a taxi back to the hotel as I believe the latest domus is around 8 or 9pm.

Icmeler is a nice resort offering a selection of shops and plenty of places for food and drink also compact and easy to get around with buses to nearby resorts

As we were all inclusive we cannot comment on the nightlife or the cost of food and drink, the only problem with the resort is the number of dogs that are roaming around. The beach by the Baia Lara Hotel was very good and clean
