very good lots to see a lovely walk a long the promenade good rest/bars some pricy over all good time

I would revisit Marmaris as you can enjoy the peace and quiet or the wild side!! Bar street becomes very lively, there are plenty of shops for the keen shoppers!

There is a good choice of things to do at this resort especially for teenagers. The beaches can be a bit shingley in places so no good for the youngsters. There is a beautiful mariner and plenty of cheap shopping. We had a fab time and would defo go back.

found marmaris to be far too busy, crossing road a nightmare and constantly getting hounded by men to eat in their restaurants. Got local bus there which is easy enough and picks up and drops off directly outside the hotel. Going the other direction Icmeler is the much better resort and within walking distance.

Clean and well cared for, not enough information from hotel regarding surroundings and what was on in and around resort.

Good, alot of excursion's avaible to go on, i would recomend the jeep safri if you don't mind getting wet. like anywhere you go you have the people trying to get you into there shops and resturants, for the first few days you will be polite but eventully they will start to get on your nerves and you will find that you have to be quite rude or you will keep getting stopped.

Because we were so well catered for at the Hotel Mares we did not partake of any meals out in Marmaris - we did look at the prices and thought they were fairly average but did not tempt us enough to eat away from the excellent hotel food. We had a cocktail and a beer a couple of times which were average prices. We did not go to the beaches to swim or sunbathe as we used the Hotel pool and the sea there. We also did not go in for the nightlife - we did hear from those who did that the drinks were very expensive. We felt that the bars at the hotel offered us enough.

The resort was beautiful, views were amazing Food was the best ever was so so so impressed with it, huge range and very clean restaurants.

it was a nice place the people in shops were great help but the market was horrendus and scary was moce amd spacious with shops and supermarkets everywhere plenty for everyone , apart from not many toy shops for kids

Marmaris is a fantastic place to stay loads to see plenty to do if you want to be away from it all then stay in the Armutalan as this is more quiet then the front

Marmaris is great for all ages,from teens to families to pensioners,there's something for everyone.A must do is the boat trips & Jeep safari,all day fun for very little money.Always remember to shop around for excursions,never take the 1st one you are offered,ask them for a flyer with the prices wrote on it or from your holiday rep who will charge you about double what you can get them for in the resort,best to book boat trips from the guys on the beach front.Eating out is very cheap,some bars do a full English breakfast for about £1-2,main meals are also great value,2 adults 3 course with drinks for about £20, alcohol prices are about £2 a drink except in Bar street where you can pay anything from £5-15 a drink.

Prices do vary depending what month you go,July & August are a bit more dearer in some bars & restaurants but not much.

Marmaris is a brilliant place you should all go, the nightlife is brilliant with lots of bars and resturants and if your not too keen on trying something new thing there is a burger king, mcdonalds and a dominos and throught the day there is lots of thing to do including trips such as boat trips, 3 waterparks, quading, go karting and scoober diving. :)

The center of Marmaris was a short bus ride away travelled only 3 times over the 2 weeks as there were lots of excursions and days just to chill. I must say when we did go into the centre it was everything and more loads of good places to eat.As we were so close to Icmeler it was a enjoyable 20 min walk from our hotel,turn to the left and it was about 45 min walk to marmaris on the front with lots to see. Enjoyed our stay and will go again.

I love Marmaris. The beach isn't perfect for little children but the hotels cater for them and icmeler is lovely. You can walk for miles. There's loads to do and see. You can pay extra to eat at the marina or find little places the locals eat in. Regardless they will all welcome you. There is nightlife if you want it. The nicest times are just outside peak season as its quieter and the holiday makers are more sedate. However the weather can be cooler.
