"Well Worth A Visit"
Overall Hotel Rating:
I have stayed in Dubai on a number of occaisions and stayed at various different hotels including the Fairmont and the Oasis Beach Appartments. I have to say that the Le Meridien offered excellent value for money and the attention to detail was very apparent. After much research of the various deals on offer, Le Meridien Royal Club was by far the best. Not only was breakfact included, but afternoon tea (3pm-5pm) offering a selection of sandwiches, patries, etc and evening drinks (6pm-9pm) offering premium brands and cocktails. The other choice of food on offer was excellent, in fact we did not have to leave the hotel, the Chineese/cantonese was my favorite! Its close proximity to the airport meant that after a long trip you were not stuck in a car for any length of time and as Royal Club guests we were picked up by car at no additional cost.I would reccomend this hotel to anyone visiting Dubai.

"Great Location"
Overall Hotel Rating:
One of my best holidays. Went with another couple. It was half-board with Virgin and on arrival upgraded to a sea view room with balcony. Everything about this hotel was great, the food and drinks was on the expensive side when buying, but holidays are like that aren't they, unless you go somewhere where the food/drink is cheaper. This hotel has it own nightclub, so lots of ex-pats came to it in the evening and I even met someone I knew in the bar! There was also football on at the time, so lots of different matches were shown. There is an excellent gym. Had a great time.

"Excellent Honeymoon Hotel"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Outstanding 5 star hotel!! Beach front location nearby to the local marina. If you want to feel spoilt without having to spend a fortune then this is the hotel to go. Your Holiday truly starts once you arrive. On arrival you are given welcome drinks and taken to your room. We had a superior sea view room which is defiantly worthwhile. Our hotel room was spotlessly clean with a huge king size bed which was cleaned 3 times a day. We paid for the half board package through our tour operator Thomas cook Signature but upon arrival we were upgraded to full board plus with lunchtime and evening drinks included which we can only presume was because we were on honeymoon. The food was served in the waves restaurant which was outstanding everyday was different cuisines so you never got bored we stayed for 2 weeks and the food was always different. If you were staying bed and breakfast there is different restaurants in the hotel to choose from which were very reasonable most main courses on average about £8.00. Pool area with swim up pool bar excellent plenty of sun lounges with free towels and daily newspapers. There was an excellent separate children's pool with a sun canopy above so the children could stay in the shade. Staff were very attentive wether it be by the pool coming round asking if you wanted to order drinks which were not expensive £2.50 for a can of pop to the staff in the restaurants they couldn't do enough for you. We will defiantly be returning.

"Mena Seyahi"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Our first time in Dubai-a stop over on the way back from the far east. We found the hotel to be fabulous. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were bed and breakfast - but ate in the hotel in the evenings as well as the food was fantastic-what a choice. The beach was lovely and cleaned regularly - and although there was alot of building work going on it did not disturb our holiday. The drinks at the hotel were very expensive - £2 for a can of coke!!!

"Le Meridian Mena Seyahi review"
Overall Hotel Rating:
We flew out with BA in Club World which was good it at least meant I could stretch my legs for the flight. As part of the deal we were met at the airport and had a private transfer to and from the hotel which was good.
The hotel itself is a little way down Jumeirah beach but anything you want to do is easily reached by taxi. There are lots of building works going all around the hotel, but we never found the noise intrusive,
As for the hotel itself, we were in the Royal Club rooms, this gave us complimentary breakfast and happy hour drinks between 6 and 7pm. There are 3 pools, plenty of loungers and the staff are very friendly. The only thing I did find, and so did some others, is that the pool temperature was quite cold. That aside there are plenty of choices when it comes to eating, there are 3 restaurants, at least, for lunchtime. We went to the one by the pool bar, it served pretty good food, the only problem is alcohol is quite expensive. For the evening there are so many restaurants you can try, either at the hotel or in Dubai, that you will never be bored. The one we liked was Pai Thai which you reach by boat on made made rivers through a hotel near the Burg. The setting was lovely and the food was really good.
There are plenty of trips you can take, we did a sundowner cruise. This takes you out to the desert, you go on a safari accross the dunes and boy do these drivers take you up and down some big dunes! Then you finish off with a meal at a camp site which includes a belly dancer. The food was good, freshly cooked and there was plenty of booze. We booked ours through Arabian Adventures, but there are loads to choose from.
All in all Dubai is a great stop for 5 nights, lovelypeople and this time of year it isnt too hot (though that is a relative term we thought it was but the locals said it was cool)

"Le Meridian Mena Seyahi review"
Overall Hotel Rating:
This was our first time in Dubai. And being a muslim country we were unsure what to expect. We should not have worried.
The resort was superb, the food was adequate and plentiful, we were half board. There is quite a lot of building work going on around the Jemeriah Beach area but to be honest it did'nt effect our holiday at all. The beach and pool areas are absolutely fabulous. Free beach towels is a nice touch. There are plenty sun loungers to hand and plenty of snack bars etc. Service is of a very high standard. Mostly Indian workers within the resort. Very friendly, knowledgeable and polite. Entertainment in the resort could be beefed up a bit. Not up to western standards yet.
Will definately go back. ( Same resort if possible). A definate must holiday of the future. Go on treat yourself. The Burj al Arab (7* hotel) is a must at least once. £30 for a cup of tea and a selection of very small bites. Still you have to do these things, when in Rome and all that.
Have a blast...
