"Great Base For Exploring I-Drive!"

Overall Hotel Rating:

Very Good

Open quote

Loved Parc Corniche! We've stayed at this hotel 3 times and in the most recent visit 4 of us stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and the main living area contained sofas, tv and dining table as well as full kitchen facilities. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable, nothing spectacular but a very nice base for exploring Orlando. Breakfast is a buffet including donuts, bagels, cereal, toast and fruit, nothing too exciting but pleasant enough, besides there are plenty of places in whichto get a brilliant breakfast on i-drive. The swimming pool is small but in the 3 times we've stayed there it's never been busy as everyone is too busy out enjoying themselves on i-drive. International drive and all of its great attractions is easy to get to using the i-ride trolley that stops at the end of the hotel drive. SeaWorld is particularly close. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel!

The Parc Corniche Hotel is situated at the end of International Drive, a road (if you can call it a road at over 5 miles long !!) dedicated to tourists which is wall to wall hotels, restaurants and gift shops, not to mention Sea World, Discovery Cove, Aquatica and Wet and Wild. Access to all of this is easy using the I-trolley buses which trundle up and down all day and are cheap to use(although very busy !!) The hotel itself is set back from the road and is surrounded by a Golf Course, so is nice and peaceful. We had a six berth apartment for myself, partner and my three kids (14,12 and 10), which was spacious, clean and tidy. Two bedrooms, one with kingsize and one with twin beds, together with a double sofa bed. Also two bathrooms, kitchenette and lounge. If I'm being picky the room was a tad dated, but was a comfortable retreat from the hustle and bustle of the Theme Parks. Kids also loved the swimming pool which was open 'til 11pm !!

I was pleasantly surprised on my visit to the Parc Corniche after reading some of the reviews written recently, but on arrival, we were greeted by pleasant and friendly staff, we were in the 5th block, which was the furthest from the reception, but it was only a few minutes walk and we were offered help with our cases if we needed it. On entering the room, we were pleased to see all the complaints by previous reviewers were possibly a bit picky as the rooms were clean and tidy, there was no dirty floors, worktops etc. We had no car, but as the I-ride trolley stopped right outside the hotel, there was no problem in getting about. The hotel is out of the way, but that makes it quiter and more relaxing to stay. We were at the theme parks all day, and when we got back , the kids spent at least an hour in the pool, which was clean and they loved the hot tub which was next to the pool. The advantage of having a suite with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms plus a lounge and kitchen is that you can all relax in the lounge after a hard days traipsing round the theme parks. The shop in the reception carries all basic essentials if you need a quick pint of milk etc. I would recommend this hotel to families with children , but for a romantic holiday, I would suggest choosing somewhere more upmarket.

"Our hotel in Orlando"

Overall Hotel Rating:

Very Good

Open quote

When you go to Orlando, you're not looking for a luxury hotel, just a clean, comfortable, quiet and relaxing retreat after a busy, tiring day wandering around the Theme Parks (well we do anyway). The Parc Corniche fitted this perfectly. It is situated towards the end of International Drive which helps with the quiet, surrounded by a golf course, so views are lovely from the balcony, yet with the i-trolley stopping at the end of the entrance drive about every 20 minutes, which is cheap, you have easy access to more eateries, gift shops and other amenities than you could possibly ever need. Also has free shuttle to Disney, Universal and Sea World. Mind you, Sea World, Aquatica and Discovery Cove are all within about a mile anyway, so a taxi to them wouldn't exactly break the Bank !! We had a six berth apartment for myself, partner and my three children (14,12 and 10), which had a kingsize bed in one bedroom, twin beds in another bedroom and double sofa bed, also two separate bathrooms. If we were being very picky, the decor was a touch dated, one of the TWO hair dryers didn't work and there was a touch of mould due to dampness in one bathroom (probably due to guests not turning on extractor fan), but apart from that was clean and spacious. We were very happy with it and would definitely recommend to anyone.
