before we went we were a little worried about the reveiws on othe sites, for example, that the food was sparse and not great. however, we had no problems at all. The rooms aint great, but we went for cheap this time, and got what we were expected. clean, plain, but food was as good as you'd pay for a buffet, plenty of choice, and even minutes before the dining room closed, empty dishes were still being restocked. If you want somewhere to relax in comfort, this may not be the place. if you want somewhere cheap and clean to go back to at the end of the day, this is ideal

This our third visit to Florida so been there, done that. The parks are great, the kids loved every second. Dont miss Seaworld or Bushe gardens. Golden Corral good for brekkie. So many resturants all good if you dont mind same ol' same ol', not knocking any of them but after a week the're all the same. Try to get a table befor 945pm, most of the mid range venues close at 10 and can rush you. Our accomidation, Quality suites, Quality it aint! That may be harsh because all you really need is a place to put your bags and put your head, but having stayed in the area twice before,I can tell anyone who wants to listen THERE ARE MUCH BETTER HOTELS. We expected two bedrooms.Me and my wife slept on a pull out bed. The 'put your head' part of the 'all you need' bit the dust first night. When you check in a ground floor room sounds great, don't take it. The gates bang LOUD. Breakfast is fine if you dont mind eating with plastic knifes and forks off paper plates drinking from paper cups. The food? It might be ok I didn't eat it coz I aint 11 and at a party. The two hour free cocktails. This translates as Two drinks (each served in paper cup) per adult per night , to be avalible between 5.30pm-7.30pm. Fair enough if you get two free drinks you say? Ok but the bar is only open between 5.30 and 7.30 so you can't buy a drink , in fact theres not even a till! Might I suggest a visit to 'ABC' off licence. The kids liked the pool, its quite small but clean with pool towels provided. The maids were in every day they were fine but only left one towel between the five of us most days (8 out of 14) The games room. My kids love computer games and such, they spent about 20 minuets in total in the games room. No Fun. The hotel shop is worth avoiding, the staff are fine but every thing can be found locally much cheaper. The reception staff were fine and got to see quite a bit of us (its not thier fault the fridge packed up in our room and flooded the floor and we had to move rooms). The hotel didn't spoil our holiday, but I feel it would have been as good an perhaps better than our previous trips to Florida(now the kids are getting bigger)if there had been a bit more 'quality' about the place. Try 'Holiday Inn Sun Spree' or 'Marriott'

We stayed here for 2 weeks commencing 24th September 2005.

Arrived at about 9pm to be greeted by a pleasant young man who confirmed my e-mail requesting 2 non-smoking adjacent rooms on an upper floor. Rooms consisted of 1 bedroom with 2 doubles and a living room with sofabed, Fridge, Microwave, Coffee maker, 2 large tv's and ensuite bathroom. They were nice and were cleaned and towels changed every day, beds made etc... Lifts were a bit slow but clean and unbattered, didnt detect any bad smells anywhere. Free breakfast was plentiful and had a good selection (cereal, toast, bagels, pastries, fruit, bacon, sausage, eggs, pancakes, oatmeal, biscuits). Daily happy hour was great with plentiful supply of drinks by Mike or Bobby the friendly barmen.

Pool was a little small, however clean and no fight for loungers, pool towels also provided. Security onsite every night and gates needing swipe card entry always worked (problem was people didnt close them properly when they came and went - not hotels fault!) If youre looking for a 5 star palace this is not the place for you, however for good clean accommodation, friendly staff and reasonable prices in a good location just off International Drive, i would definately recommemd this hotel.
