"excellent hotel"
Overall Hotel Rating:
OK so the hotel is beautiful, no doubt about it
And from the moment you walk in you are impressed by the giant chandeliers and old furniture, definately a throw back to the 19th century
The staff is super nice and very helpful and the hole PB&J snack time thing they do every night is pretty cool too
The rooms are small, but they are comfortable and nicely appointed. The bathrooms are tiny and cramped and the showers are set up very strange with no curtain and only a partial glass door so the floors always get soaked (you guys should do something about that)
The restaurant was decent and the breakfast was good, but expensive
Fitness center was hard to find on the top floor but good treadmills and decent universla machine. You just have to get off at the top floor go down the hall and then climb some stairs to the roof and go around a corner (totally confusing but you can eventually find it)
Then we find out the place is supposedly haunted and that freaks out my wife and my friends wife. We think it is all nonsense but then the couple at the tabel next to us in breakfast starts talking about how their shower turned on during the night and they mean turned on full force, not a drip . . . very strange stuff but it won't keep me from coming back. I loved the place and its still close enough to the quarter that you can sort of walk or take avery short taxi ride.

"Le Pavillon Hotel "
Overall Hotel Rating:
My first trip to New Orleans, and I felt I lucked out by choosing Le Pavillon. The location is ideal - in the CBD, where it is quieter, but within easy walking distance of the French Quarter. The service was outstanding - everyone was friendly and helpful. The decor is a bit over the top, and the room seemed a little dated, but it was clean and comfortable. The bathroom vent fan made a huge racket, but could be switched off. My room was across from the elevator, and I did hear some noise from the corridor, but it did not disturb me at night. However these minor inconveniences did not detract from the overall experience.

"Le Pavillon Hotel "
Overall Hotel Rating:
The hotel is beautiful, and the people who work at Le Pavillon really made me feel welcome. The front desk manager, the concierge, the doorman, the bellhop, the room service staff - there was a cordiality and generosity of spirit there that was terrific to be around. I really appreciated it. My room was small and decorated in a quasi-Victorian manner that felt very 1900, but comfortable too. I liked the black granite bathroom and the glass shower stall. I liked that when I had to print out documents in the business center, there was no charge. And the room service was absolutely fantastic - the food was seriously delicious, and it was delivered promptly. Overall, a great stay

"Le Pavillon Hotel was ok for us"
Overall Hotel Rating:
The hotel and staff could not have been better. The decor was absolutely beautiful. I think that the location was perfect; far enough away not to be bothered by French Quarter late night action, but close enough to walk or hop on the streetcar (there is a stop very close to the hotel).
