What an amazing modern gothic boutique hotel, darkly lit deep greens and reds everywhere and infused with the scent of logfires and citrus fruit. Sensory overload really. A must for anyone looking for real luxury in New York

"Gramercy Park Hotel review"

Pretty good location - Lexington and 21st for shopping etc.
Hotel is big but very friendly. I got upgraded to a suite (but I think its only $30 extra per night anyway) but have stayed before in a standard room - still pretty big for New York. Great rooftop bar with seperate smoking area if you need it, good menu and not overpriced.
The hotel has an old feel to it, not all new and characterless. You can also use the hotel's own Park. Good value for money with good restaurants nearby.
